Argoshield® 5 has been formulated specifically for welders using the GMAW process on carbon steel typically less than 4 mm thick. This gas mixture, which can be used in all positions, produces low heat input and narrow weld beads, thereby reducing distortion and burn-through. The recommended regulator W003610 and W003037.

Applications include duct and sheet metal industries, automotive components manufacture, vehicle repair, steel furniture and domestic appliance manufacure and light gauge storage tanks.
